The best part of all is that the owner's are very personable and great hosts. The husband Dagoberto gave us a short tour and drove us to Steph's school the first day so we didn't have to try to find it from the bus. We're very happy with not only our room, but we feel secure knowing someone in town that is only a phone call away. The weather is beautiful, so I'm going to head outside and explore a little bit. More updates to come later.

El Hotel Noche de Paz
Our hotel room turned out to be surprisingly nice. There are two buildings, one freestanding building that has two larger rooms and the owners house, which has three smaller rooms downstairs. Though our room is not particularly large, it has a nice tile floor, hot water in the showers, access to a laundry room, and it over looks beautifully manicured gardens and a river. Since I'm writing this post while Steph is at school, I can say I think the main selling point for her is the owner's dog "Luna", that has become best friends with Steph. Personally, the room is well kept, only "cuarto cientos metros," known as four blocks from town in Costa Rica, and the bed is much nicer than Jeni's pullout couch.
